Meet Our Newest Additions:

We recently got three goats, and of course I have plenty of photos to share. :)

This is Sis #1's goat.
Her name is Lilly...

And as you can see, she enjoys eating trees. =)

This is Sis #3's goat.
Her name is Rosey...

As you can see, she likes eating trees too. =)

This is Sis #2's goat.
Her name is Baley...

And as you can see, she likes eating weeds. =D

These goats are so precious!

...And they're friendly too.

Sooo... we now have a total of 5 "pet" farm animals: Molly (one of our cows), Darcy (my cow), Lilly, Rosey, & Baley! And yes, their names intentionally all rhyme with each other. And yes, they intentionally all consist of 5 letters each. You know how girls are... ;) I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Have a blessed week!

Farm Life...

With my new camera! :)

We have chicks of all sizes!

There are about 50 of them to be exact.

This is Darcy.

And here is Molly.

One of the "ladies" fluffing her feathers. ;)

The gorgeous sunset!

Sister #1 taking her own "Molly-Darcy-Hamburger" pictures! :D

Oh, yes... and let's not forget the big tough rooster. :)

"The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways."
Deuteronomy 28:8, 9

Cattle on a Thousand Hills

Okay, so we don't exactly have a thousand hills ... well, not even one ... but we do have some cattle!
Here is our sweet little Molly:

She's definitely a whole lot bigger than when we first got her!

And sometime last week week we got two bull calves to raise for organic beef. Unfortunately, they're SO cute and we just couldn't help but take lots of pictures! :) We weren't supposed to give them names but we just couldn't help ourselves...

Here is Meatloaf!

And precious little Hamburger!
(Sister #1 came up with their names.)

Aren't they some of the cutest things you've ever seen?!

We LOVED taking Meatoaf's picture! He seemed to be very photogenic...

Unlike Hamburger, lol!

Also, Meatloaf would let us pet and rub all over him while Hamburger was a little more timid and shy!

So cute and soft!

We decided we should bottle feed them because they had the scours pretty bad and they needed a lot of nutrients. Mom looked up a recipe online to help them with that. Here is Sister #1 trying to get Hamburger to take a bottle.

And this is me feeding Meatloaf!

Now it's Sister #3's turn!

And now, Sister #2!

"...For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills." Psalm 50:10
I hope you liked the pictures. Have a blessed weekend, everyone!

"...Wild Animals and All Cattle..."

"I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."

We recently got our very first calf, and we were so excited to bring her home! Also, we've been hatching some chicks lately... so I have lots of pictures to share. :) I hope you enjoy them!

Meet Molly...

"Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,..."

Doesn't she look so sweet?

"...lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding,..."

Sister #2 feeding her

"...you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle,..."
Here are the darling little chicks! Aren't they just precious!

"...small creatures..."

Yes, some are black and some are yellow. I think it's just adorable! :)

"...and flying birds,..."

Now... Do you recognize these little guys?
Yes, they are the same baby guineas I posted pictures of a few weeks ago. They sure have grown!
And here is Daddy's tractor "Fergie". That is what he calls it! He's used this tractor from the time he was young.

"...kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and maidens, old men and children." Psalm 148:7-12

"Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name."
Here's a picture of the moon in the sky that night. It looked really pretty.
Psalm 89:5: "The heavens praise your wonders, O LORD, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones."

And, unfortunately, this is what they will grow up to look like! LOL! (Not so cute anymore!) We used to have seven adult guineas, but one was eaten... by... something. Poor guinea. So now we have six!
