Meet Our Newest Additions:

We recently got three goats, and of course I have plenty of photos to share. :)

This is Sis #1's goat.
Her name is Lilly...

And as you can see, she enjoys eating trees. =)

This is Sis #3's goat.
Her name is Rosey...

As you can see, she likes eating trees too. =)

This is Sis #2's goat.
Her name is Baley...

And as you can see, she likes eating weeds. =D

These goats are so precious!

...And they're friendly too.

Sooo... we now have a total of 5 "pet" farm animals: Molly (one of our cows), Darcy (my cow), Lilly, Rosey, & Baley! And yes, their names intentionally all rhyme with each other. And yes, they intentionally all consist of 5 letters each. You know how girls are... ;) I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Have a blessed week!

Dear Taylor,

I hate to tell you this so publicly, but of course you don't have to publish this if you don't want to do so. Goats don't "like to eat grass." They may eat some grass, but they LOVE to eat leaves and weeds. They will even eat the bark off of trees or chicken feed or just about anything, including your clothing if you don't watch out.

I just wanted a reason to type you a comment. So, there you go . . . . . And a good reason to say, "I love you. You are beautiful inside and out. You remind me of Jesus."

I love you,

Mom

Mom: That's funny... I did know that. I guess I just wasn't thinking! lol :D I fixed it now and changed it to say "weeds" instead. ;)

Thank you! :)

I love you too,

Taylor

Sweet goats!
I remember when the girls were younger and Brandi LOVED the Rugrats cartoon. There was one episode where the grandma gave a goat as a present when Didi was expecting and she said,"Nothing better for the little bubula than goat's milk."
So....are you bubulas drinking that milk???

Moe: Thanks. =)

That's funny. :D No, we're not drinking the goat's milk. We didn't want to commit to milking them twice a day everyday. Mom did that when she was a teenager and she said she never wants to do it again! lol (And it would kind of put a damper on prospective vacations, etc. because someone would always have to be here to milk them while we were gone.)

Anyway, we just have the goats because we love them... not to mention they make pretty good weed-eaters too. ;)
