We first celebrated last Saturday (a week ago) with my Mom's side of the family. It was held at a community center nearby and there were around 50-60 people there--with tons of food and dessert! It was delicious! :)
Yes, this is me... and that's my Dad's arm in the background! lol
Swinging on the swing outside... it was a beautiful day!
Sister #2 sitting on the bench watching the kids play ball.
We had a chance of rain, but thankfully we didn't get any!
The children playing "20 Questions" together. It was so cute!
My beautiful Mommy & Daddy :)
When we got home that evening, we enjoyed ourselves by sitting around the fireplace. It had gotten a little chilly outside!
(Sorry about the spots in the picture. The camera just does that sometimes.)

~ Thanksgiving Day ~
We spent Thanksgiving Day with my Dad's side of the family. The gathering was held in a family's airplane hangar... how interesting! :)
It was actually quite neat. Behind all of the neighborhood houses there was a runway for the planes taking off and landing. We decided to take a few fun pictures...
This is Sister #1 jumping high in the air!
I thought Sis #3 looked so cute here! lol
Now, I'm sure you're wondering if "big sis" gave it a try. Yes, I did in fact. But there is no way I'd ever let anyone set eyes on the picture! Let's just say I'm not quite as talented when it comes to jumping... I guess.

Looks like you had fun! We did something way different this year: We went out to eat!!! I have to say, it was nice not having all the cokking, clean up, etc. Well, we did do dessert at my grandma's house, but other than that we had no prep!!!
Blessings,
Chloe
Our family always enjoys going out to eat for dinner! We love it! But I don't think we've ever actually done that for Thanksgiving. I know what you mean about not having the mess to clean up and all, though!! That's always the worst part, lol! Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
~Taylor
Glad you had such a nice time! You and your sisters such beautiful maidens of God! I enjoyed all the jumping pictures! Your skirts are lovely too! Do you make them?
Fr thanksgiving this year we just had a dinner together as a family. We cooked up our 19# homegrown turkey! It was really good! My grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins live farther away so we did not spend the day with them. My grandparents that do live closer, go to my aunts house in NC over the holidays. But, we visit with them other times so it's okay!

P.S. Our camera sometimes has spotty days too :)
Thank you, Hannah! :) No, we don't usually make our skirts. My sister has sewn a couple before, but usually we buy them from thrift stores! We really should learn to sew more often, though.
That's so neat that you ate your own turkey!! I'm sure it tasted really good. It sounds like you had a nice dinner with your family. We have a LOT of cousins, aunts, and uncles, too... So unfortunately, we sometimes only see them once a year--on Thanksgiving! Thankfully both of our grandparents live within 15 minutes away (my mom's live right next door!) so we see them often.
Thanks for commenting! :)

Lovely skirts!

Thanks, Grace! I'm really glad y'all had a nice Thanksgiving! :)

How nice that your grandparents live close by! Both of my parents grew up in the city way down in southern MI so that is where most of our relatives are.
I know, Me and my sister don't know how to sew very well either. Sometimes I wish I could. I can't really get myself to just sit down and sew sew sew! I am the type of person where when I'm doing things like sewing I start thinking about all the wonderful things I could be doing outside! In other words, I guess I could say that out of all the girls in Little Woman I am like Jo the most! I love to be ladylike though!

Yes, I did mean to enter the giveaway.
I love the pictures of you girls! We had a good Thanksgiving too. Everyone came here to our house. We had a turkey and a ham for 17 people. It was crowded. Boo was here this week but left tonite, she'll be out for a 4 week break on Dec 11. Bran is looking for a new job because they are cutting her hours back too much at the clothing store. Cam's football is over for the year so he just plays with his friends after school. Tell everyone hello.
Love, Moe
