A Few of My Favorite Things...

I've seen a lot of other bloggers doing this sort of post lately, so I decided to do one of my own! I've put quite a few things below... so be prepared for a lengthy list! :)

Here are some of my favorite things...

Reading and studying my Bible...

Spending time with my family...

Singing... especially with my sisters.

Talking with my mommy... ;)

Doing barnwork with my daddy...
Playing card games... Our favorites are Spades and Diminishing Spades.

The hymn "How Great Thou Art"...
Christmas... and participating in our church's Christmas program each year.

The television show "Little House on the Prairie"...

The movie "Faith Like Potatoes"...

And "Walking Across Egypt"... it's such a sweet film!

Music artist, Matthew West...

and Kari Jobe.

Taking pictures with my camera...

Eating cereal... my favorite is Kashi's blueberry.

Of course, I love blogging!

And my curly hair... :)

Shopping for pretty skirts...

Swinging at the park...

Baking...

Fruit... bananas, strawberries, kiwi, grapes, & cantaloupe are some of my favorites.

Cleaning... I love a clean house!

Children... they're so precious and I love taking care of them.

Writing letters...

My favorite season: Fall

And lastly, my favorite Bible verse:

"Come near to God and he will come near to you."

(James 4:8)

Alright, that's everything for now... although, I'm sure I could come up with many more! :) Have a wonderful evening, everyone!

Hi Taylor,
I'm glad you decided to do this! I enjoyed seeing some of your favorite things. I know what you mean - I could have come up with a lot more things too. Maybe I'll do a "More of My Favorite Things" post sometime. :)

I hope you have a wonderful evening!! ;)

I made my orange baked chicken, it was really, really good.
6 breast
orange juice
jar orange marmelade

Place chicken in greased or Pam sprayed covered dish. Cover w/ orange juice, cover & bake 2 hrs, 250
Take out of oven & drain juice.
Pierce chicken & cover w/ marmelade, cover & bake 2 more hours,250

I think this would also do well in crockpot on low, following 1/2 time replacement.

Lindsay: I'm glad I did it, too! And I'd love to see more of your favorite things... that's a good idea. ;)

I just now finished writing your letter. So I should be getting it in the mail tomorrow!!

Ms Kat: I'm glad the chicken turned out to be really good! I'll keep that recipe in mind. Thanks for sharing!
